Robin C. Beery
Beery has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. She previously worked at Janus Capital Group for 20 years serving as executive vice president and head of U.S. distribution and president of Janus’ mutual funds. Prior to that, she was executive vice president, chief marketing officer and head of product strategy; and vice president, retail marketing. Beery was a public company executive officer at Janus Capital Group and served on the firm’s executive management committee along with numerous boards, including: president and CEO of Janus Investment Funds; board member at INTECH, a subsidiary of Janus Capital Group; board member at Perkins Investment Management, a subsidiary of Janus Capital Group; and finally, board member at Janus Capital Group Foundation. Beery earned a bachelor’s of science degree in liberal arts from the University of Kansas. She resides in Denver.
Kevin C. Gallagher
Mr. Gallagher has served as a director of UMB Financial Corporation since 2007. Mr. Gallagher is currently chief executive officer of Little Pub Holdings, LLC in Denver, Colo., an owner/operator of 20 neighborhood pubs and restaurants. He also serves as chairman and chief executive officer of West Creek Partners, LLC, a private investment firm, as well as serving as vice chairman of Gallagher Industries, LLC, a private holding company of middle market industrial companies. Mr. Gallagher serves on the boards of UMB Bank Colorado and the University of Denver.
Gordon E. Lansford III
Gordon E. Lansford, III, is Chief Executive Officer and President at JE Dunn Construction Company, Inc. Previously, he served as the Chief Financial Officer at JE Dunn Construction Company, Inc. from 2008 to 2013 and served as its Executive Vice President until January 1, 2014. He also previously served as Director of Internal Audit at JE Dunn Construction Company. Lansford has relevant experience overseeing operations, finance, legal, risk management, investments, human resources and information technology. He has been a Director at UMB Financial Corporation since April 25, 2017. He served as Director at UMB Bank, National Association until January 2016.
Gregory M. Graves
Mr. Graves has served since October 2003 as president and chief executive officer of Burns & McDonnell, a consulting engineering company headquartered in Kansas City, Mo., with offices and operations throughout the United States. From January 2003 to October 2003, he served as president and chief operating officer of the company. He served as general manager of the company’s Energy Division from November 1997 to June 2001, and as president of the company’s Energy Group from July 2001 to December 2002.
Alexander C. Kemper
Mr. Kemper is chairman of the board of The Collectors Fund, a private equity fund focused on alternative asset classes. Mr. Kemper also is chairman of the board and chief executive officer of Pollenware, a leading provider of payment optimization technology and early cash flow delivery for corporations.

Prior to founding The Collectors Fund and Pollenware, Mr. Kemper founded Perfect Commerce (formerly known as eScout.com) and served as the company’s chairman and chief executive officer from 2000-2006. Under Mr. Kemper’s leadership, Perfect Commerce created the Open Supplier Network™ (OSN™) and became the largest and fastest growing provider of on-demand supplier relationship management (SRM) technology in the United States.

Mr. Kemper also has served as chairman of the board and chief executive officer of UMB Bank and chief executive officer of UMB Financial. Mr. Kemper began his career with UMB upon graduating in 1987 from Northwestern University.

Mr. Kemper is a venture investor and currently serves on the corporate boards of UMB Financial (NASDAQ: UMBF), UMB Bank, NIC (NASDAQ: EGOV), AXA Art USA (NYSE: AXA), Sipvine, SCD Probiotics and BATS Exchange, the third largest stock exchange in the world.

Mr. Kemper and his family are active in academic, civic and philanthropic endeavors, and Mr. Kemper serves on the board of the Agriculture Future of America (AFA), a non-profit scholarship and leadership development organization which he co-founded.

Tim Murphy
Mr. Murphy is the CEO of Murphy-Hoffman Company (MHC), the largest privately owned heavy and medium-duty truck dealer in North America. MHC has 108 locations in 16 states and more than 3,700 employees. He has more than 27 years of experience in the trucking industry, with vast experience with organizational oversight, having served on numerous supplier councils to the trucking industry and having served two terms as Chairman of the North American Kenworth Dealer Council. He served as a board member for UMB Bank n.a., from 1999-2015. In addition, Murphy is a nine-year member of the Board of Trustees at Spring Hill College.
Tamara M. Peterman
Tamara (Tammy) M. Peterman, MS, RN, FAAN, was appointed executive vice president, chief operating officer and chief nursing officer of the University of Kansas Health System in July 2007. In July 2018, she assumed the additional role of president, Kansas City Division. In her roles with the University of Kansas Health System, Tammy oversees the operations of all health system locations within the Kansas City metropolitan area, assuring key operational goals related to quality service, people growth and financial stability are achieved. She has experience overseeing operations, financial performance, regulatory, and risk management, and she provides specialized industry knowledge related to healthcare.
Kris A. Robbins
Mr. Robbins brings 30 years of experience in the financial services industry to the board. He spent a decade leading Security Benefit Corporation, which reached roughly $40 billion in annuities, mutual funds and retirement plan assets under management before he retired as the chairman and chief executive officer in February 2010. He presently serves as a board and private equity advisor to several companies throughout the United States.
L. Joshua Sosland
Mr. Sosland has served as vice president of Sosland Companies, Inc. in Kansas City, Mo., since 1993. The Sosland Companies are primarily engaged in trade publications for the baking, flour milling and grain industries. He has also served as editor of Milling & Baking News since 2004.
Paul Uhlmann III
Mr. Uhlmann III has served as president of The Uhlmann Company in Kansas City, Mo., since 1997. The Uhlmann Company is a grocery products company. Mr. Uhlmann earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Chicago graduate school of business (now called Chicago Booth).
Thomas J. Wood III
Mr. Wood III is the general partner in The Wood Family Partnerships, which has holdings in stocks, bonds and real estate.
Leroy J. Williams Jr.
Mr. Williams is the former Global Chief Information Officer for Ball Corporation. Williams served as a member of the Senior Executive Team, responsible for all aspects of information technology, cyber security, data analytics, and delivering value added business solutions across the global reach of the company. Previously, he spent 3.5 years working in the public sector as a cabinet member for Colorado Governor Owen’s administration. Prior to a career in the public sector, Williams held various positions in technology solutions, supply-chain management, and procurement in the telecommunications and banking industries.
