Tamara (Tammy) M. Peterman, MS, RN, FAAN, was appointed executive vice president, chief operating officer and chief nursing officer of the University of Kansas Health System in July 2007. In July 2018, she assumed the additional role of president, Kansas City Division. In her roles with the University of Kansas Health System, Tammy oversees the operations of all health system locations within the Kansas City metropolitan area, assuring key operational goals related to quality service, people growth and financial stability are achieved. She has experience overseeing operations, financial performance, regulatory, and risk management, and she provides specialized industry knowledge related to healthcare.
