appointment of Robin Beeryto theUMB Financial Corporation
Board of Directors.

Beery has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services
industry. She previously worked at Janus Capital Group for 20 years
serving as executive vice president and head of U.S. distribution and
president of Janus’ mutual funds. Prior to that, she was executive vice
president, chief marketing officer and head of product strategy; and
vice president, retail marketing.
Beery was a public company executive officer at Janus Capital Group and
served on the firm’s executive management committee along with numerous
boards, including: president and CEO of Janus Investment Funds; board
member at INTECH, a subsidiary of Janus Capital Group; board member at
Perkins Investment Management, a subsidiary of Janus Capital Group; and
finally, board member at Janus Capital Group Foundation.
Beery earned a bachelor’s of science degree in liberal arts from the
University of Kansas. She resides in Denver.
